ALASKA RAFT CONNECTION, LLC. ~~~ 14 FOOT SELF-BAILER     ~  At 14' the SOTAR  ELITE SP  Specialty with 80oz Drop-stitch floor Self-Bailer is one of the coolest fully-custom rafts we run.  A must see...  It is a design quite unlike and certainly superior to conventional self-bailing floor boats.  80 oz. Drop-Stitch has several advantages here in Alaska over more typical 41-48 oz. I or Y beam cunstructions. Our floor is much tougher for continual (week-in/week-out with quick turn-around and proven problem-free reliability) running sharp rock, log-jams, technical water, or steeper gradients.  Definately takes away the concerns of tearing holes or puncturing the floor in demanding places when hauling a load of gear or passengers.  Shallow-draft capability is greatly increased; often requiring 1/2 the inches of water necessary to freight multi-day weight.  That's a lot less potential running aground or dragging.  Boat response is near instant feedback from oar or paddle strokes.  The floor is high-pressure, predictable, does not flex, and easy to stand up or walk around in. on This translates to increased power, efficiency, glide speed, and ability to move about the stream with finesse.   You will not find a better, more suitable 14' raft that maximizes usable space, worhorse load capacity, agile preformance, ful-size boat stability, row frame or paddle boat utility, hazard forgiveness, and top hull speed with a working load. The AIRE LEOPARD is the largest of the Performance Series  With very large diameter tubes and symmetrical // symmetrical, continuous-curve The LEOPARD will easily freight a ton of cargo, provide comfortable seating for several, draft only inches of water, and still retain a sporty ride. There is little surface tension on water despite its 18' length.  This boat tracks very well on flat water, has the stance to straddle over many mid-river obstacles, while remaining incredibly maneuverable, stable, and secure in both technical whitewater or Big-Water flows. These AIRE Cats are our practical, prevailing picks for first-rafting-descents, discovery or exploratory trips, lighter-weight travel, plus the extra scouting/safety or gear boats for more demanding whitewater and steep creekin'.
